In Memory of Clive Ponder<\/h3>\n\t\t\t

It is with\u00a0profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of Clive Ponder, one of the founding directors of CTT Group.<\/p>\n

Clive was a man of extraordinary vision, strength, and determination, whose passion laid the foundations of our business. Clive was more than a leader \u2013 he was an inspiration, known for his booming voice, unmistakable laugh, and genuine care for the people who worked alongside him, as well as the clients and industry that we serve.<\/p>\n

Clive believed in striving for excellence and dedicated his life to making that vision a reality. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy will continue to shape our business for years to come.<\/p>\n

Bob Massey <\/h3>\n\t\t\t

Bob started his career\u00a0in\u00a01983 as a Financial Advisor;\u00a0after sailing through Sales Management\u00a0and\u00a0becoming the youngest ever Branch Manager for L&G at the age of 29, Bob has the\u00a0expertise, attitude and skills\u00a0to run his teams and advise clients on taxation and trusts.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Bob continues to work as an IFA and a Practising Trust and Estate Practitioner, TEP and believes that building a\u00a0trusted\u00a0relationship with their clients, coupled with the ability to\u00a0problem-solve\u00a0effectively,\u00a0will\u00a0help them\u00a0to\u00a0exceed their clients\u2019 expectations.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Spencer Tattam<\/h3>\n\t\t\t

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR – CTT TAX & TRUST<\/strong> \u2022 BA (HONS) DIPPFS TEP<\/p>\n

Spencer Tattam was appointed as the Technical Director in 2017. He is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and has completed the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates. He is also an IFA qualified to DipPFS level.<\/p>\n

He has been working at Countrywide since 2004, providing bespoke solutions for advisors and clients, and is now heavily involved in the technical development of the Legacy software<\/a> in his role. Spencer oversees the Trust Management, Probate and Estate Planning teams.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Charlotte Ponder<\/h3>\n\t\t\t

LEGAL DIRECTOR – CTT TAX & TRUST<\/strong> \u2022 LL.B (HONS) TEP<\/p>\n

Charlotte was appointed as the Legal Director in 2017 and plays a pivotal role in overseeing risk management and anti-money laundering compliance. She became a full TEP in 2017 following her completion of the STEP Diploma in Advising Vulnerable Clients. Charlotte regularly speaks at industry events and attends meetings with key stakeholders in the legal sector such as the Law Commission.<\/p>\n

She was a member of the Industry Working Group (IWG) on Electronic Execution of Documents established by the Ministry of Justice, a 3 year appointment looking at increasing confidence and reliance on the electronic execution of documents across law and industry. The Group\u2019s Final Report was published in February 2023.<\/p>\n

Charlotte is passionate about encouraging others to follow careers in Private Client, Legal Tech and Legal Project Management and has taken part in events at local high schools, colleges and universities to highlight the diverse range of roles available.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
