Katy first joined us in the role of a Scanning Assistant, getting to grips with our documents, and organising our post! Less than 8 weeks later, Katy was ready for her next challenge…
Next, Katy took her expertise and knowledge across the company, in the role of a Senior Administrator for the Trust Management Department where she became a pillar of the team, managing the administration of trust assets, dealing with assignments, and setting up trustee meetings. Katy truly thrived in this senior leadership role, acquiring valuable interpersonal skills.
Katy started a brand-new year at CTT as Personal Assistant to the Director of the New Entrants Team, which presented her with new challenges and extensive room for growth! From this moment, Katy became responsible for managing the Director’s diary, booking meetings, and arranging CTT’s famous training courses! She really got to know the ins and outs of the New Entrants team, which led her to the next move.
Following her maternity leave, Katy re-joined the New Entrants Team, this time as their Senior Administrator! From the get-go, she began managing the onboarding of new advisors, including managing their training courses, and dealing with software queries. As she continued to excel in her role, there was a new turn on the horizon…
After the birth of her second child, Katy returned to CTT by taking on a new, more demanding role of Complaints Officer for the company, in which she investigated and handled various customer complaints. Her attention to detail and familiarity with CTT’s products, meant that she could provide the highest level of service and professionalism.
With a thorough knowledge of CTT’s business and a flair for client interaction, Katy was tasked with leading a brand-new department: the Client Care Team. Katy was appointed as a trusted team leader for this new team, to deal with care cases, reports to the board, client ID verification, and AML queries.
Following the birth of her third child, Katy returned to CTT ready for her next challenge. She hit the ground running by entering the position of a Project Manager, where she effortlessly led various CTT projects, such as Trust Registration. In the style of a true superhero, there wasn’t a problem Katy couldn’t solve, her excellent knowledge and leadership throughout this time had prepared her for her ultimate CTT challenge.
Due to her excellent performance and her can-do attitude, Katy expanded her duties, and became a Projects and Risk Manager. In her new role, she is responsible for implementing and monitoring GDPR and AML policies, as well as leading the Project Team. Undoubtedly, Katy is an integral part of our company, having thrived in all of her previous roles and worked across multiple departments, she continues to pass on her knowledge and unbeatable work ethic to all CTT colleagues!
According to Katy, it’s the support you get from your team throughout your career that makes CTT the best place to be. “I think I lost a lot of my confidence when I had children, it was actually the Directors that supported me and encouraged me to go for a Team Leader role. They made it clear they had faith in me, even when I had lost it in myself”, says Katy.
