Summary of Key Responsibilities and Role

  • To supervise and support the ID team staff.
  • To deal with complex ID enquiries.
  • To contribute to the development and improvement of business systems and processes, representing the ID Team and perspective within the business.
  • To make effective use of case management systems and ensure efficient use of time and resources.
  • To attend and represent the ID Team at the Team Leader meeting.
  • To maintain and communicate with 3rd Party ID check providers to ensure our processes are up to date and integrated as required.

 

Principal Responsibilities

  • Encouraging your team, providing support and ongoing training and to the wider business when required including the roll out of new products and systems.
  • Deal with complex ID Team enquiries and matters such as deputyships.
  • Dealing with complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Supervise day to day operation of the department and allocating work across your team and leading by example in completing a fair share of the work while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Maintain high standards of performance and customer service.
  • Meeting departmental deadlines.
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and supportive working environment.
  • To make appropriate recommendations for service improvement.
  • To attend and complete relevant training.
  • Conduct probation meetings when required for your team members.
  • Carry out regular one-to-one meetings with team members.
  • To co-operate with and take part in the business’s appraisal process.
  • Make effective use of case management systems, Microsoft and email systems.
  • To demonstrate support for the organisation’s development and values.
  • Assist in maintaining and reviewing AML compliance across processes and policies
  • Monitor SAR’s ensuring the deadline to disclose is always met

  • You must be clear communicator and be able to guide your team.
  • Strong organisation skills.
  • Confident in making decisions.
  • Willing to delegate.
  • Good inter-personal skills and understanding manner.
