About the Role:
As the Legal Administrator you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Technical Director’s Team. You will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of bespoke legal documents, identifying document and process improvements, supporting in the implementation of such improvements, and ensuring that documents are compliant with both legal and business requirements. You will also be primarily responsible for the team’s organisation and communication, monitoring the email inbox and responding to emails, and answering phone calls.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a small but busy team, where no day is the same, and represents a great opportunity for potential progression working closely with the Technical Director and other senior members of staff. This role will be perfect for someone who would like to develop their knowledge and understanding of estate planning and assist with the implementation of real, tangible change within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document creation – Assist the team with drafting, amending, checking and formatting a variety of legal documents.
- Compliance – Assist the team with ensuring that all legal documents are compliant with legal requirements and business standards.
- Communication – Monitor the team email inbox and respond to emails, answer phone calls, and prepare letters.
- Driving Efficiencies – Assisting with the development of internal processes and procedures to ensure that all work is completed in accordance with company standards. Identifying areas which require efficiency improvement and assisting with finding and implanting solutions.
- General Administrative Support – Perform a variety of administrative tasks including electronic filing, maintaining accurate, up-to-date records and project statuses, scanning, scheduling meetings, diary management, and other duties as needed.
Experience Required:
- Previous administration experience is essential. The team are looking for someone who is used to working in a busy office environment and meeting strict deadlines.
- Legal administration and experience in preparing legal documents is desirable, but not essential.
- Experience in answering and dealing with telephone calls, letters and emails in a professional and efficient manner.

- Comfortable with using various IT systems, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internal systems such as Tracker, Docuware and Legacy.
- Good inter-personal skills and understanding manner.
