Experience

Essential:

  • Experience of handling a varied residential conveyancing caseload
  • Knowledge of conveyancing law and practice including:

o Sales and purchases;
o Transfers of equity;
o Freehold, leasehold & unregistered properties

  • Experience using legal case management systems.

Desirable:

  • 3 years’ experience in residential conveyancing.
  • Knowledge and experience of regulatory compliance and familiarity with industry best practice standards including CQS and Lexcel.
  • Experience of assisting in managing lender panels.
  • Basic understanding of equitable principles and trust law.

  • Good IT skills.
  • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a clear and professional manner at all levels.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.

Qualifications

Desirable:

  • Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Chartered Legal Executive in training.
